Raymond T. Young

Raymond T. Young Jr., passed unexpectedly on Friday, November 8, 2019 at his home. He was born in Bethlehem on August 30, 1952. Ray was a graduate of Moravian College. He worked at the Bethlehem Steel, Modern Concrete, and Home Star prior to retirement.

Ray will be dearly missed by his wife of 45 years, Linda R. Young; daughters, Emily Aragona-Young and wife, Jeralyn Aragona-Young of Blakeslee, and Ellen Young of Bethlehem; as well as the loves of his life, grand twins, Mya and Leo.

Ray enjoyed watching WWII documentaries, CNN, and Netflix, playing chess, and teaching new things to Mya and Leo. He also loved to make people laugh with his witty sense of humor.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 12. 2019 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow. Burial will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made payable to Emily Aragona-Young and mailed to P.O. Box 315, Blakeslee, PA 18610, to be applied towards an educational fund for Mya and Leo.
