Regina M. Doddy, 76, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, January 20, 2023.
Born on December 25, 1946, in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Joseph V. and Billye Jean (Hambright) Hollshwandner.
Following her graduation from Liberty High School, Regina enjoyed a secretarial career, serving in positions at Northampton County Domestic Relations, Dunn and Bradstreet, and the Firemans Fund.
Outside of work, she enjoyed dancing, traveling to Atlantic City to visit casinos, listening to Elvis, as well as attending her sons sporting events during their youth.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son: Stephen R. Doddy, as well as one sister: Joanne R. Sommer.
Regina will be lovingly remembered by her husband: John Simcik; two sons: Kevin J. Doddy (Nhu) and Keith C. Doddy (Ashley); brother: Joseph Val Hollshwandner; sister: Diane L. Erney; brother-in-law: Joseph Sommer; seven grandchildren: Kevin, Jr., Nikki, Jordon, Taylor, Jared, Stevie, and Hope. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren: Lucas and Ethan, as well as nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service, in the funeral home, at 11:00am.
Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Linden Street, Bethlehem.
