Regina Marie (Morrison) Lawler, 94, formerly of Bethlehem, PA and Spring Hill, FL died on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at St. Mary Manor in Lansdale, PA.

She was born on September 23, 1923 in Bethlehem, PA; daughter of the late Mary (Bresnahan) Crenko and Francis A. Crenko. She married Joseph Lawler, Jr. on September 17, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 2013, after 64 years of marriage.

“Jeanne” was a former reporter for the Morning Call newspaper and later worked in retail, retail security and in the Activities department at Holy Family Manor. She was a communicant at SS Simon and Jude Catholic Church and was very active in community and church affairs including both boy and girl scouts, the Legion of Mary and the Sodality Society of the BVM. Regina was a 1943 Graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School.

After retiring to Spring Hill, FL, she enjoyed traveling, playing bocce and competitive & social round-dancing with the Timber Pines Twirlers.

Regina will be lovingly remembered by her children, Michael Lawler and his wife Michele of Langhorne, PA; Molly (Lawler) Driscoll of Bethlehem; Patrick Lawler and his wife Terry of Cockeysville, MD; Joseph Lawler, III of Albuquerque, NM; her brother Francis “Bud” Crenko of Bethlehem and by her seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Gerard and Thomas.

Services have been entrusted to The Connell Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chapel, 3219 Santee Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18020 on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11AM. A private burial, in the future, will be in Holy Savior Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions, in her name, may be made to St. Mary Manor, 701 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446.
