Regina R. Geier

Regina R. "Re" Geier, 84, of Bethlehem, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at L.V. Hospital Muhlenberg surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Dancho Lesko.

Regina was preceded in death in 1997 by her loving husband of 51 years, John J. Geier.

She served as the legal secretary to the Solicitor of the City of Bethlehem for 25 years.

Regina was a longtime, active and devoted parishioner of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem, where she was also a member of the Seniors Group.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family, daughter Colette M. wife of Dr. Joseph Lennert of Bethlehem; son, Conrad L. Geier of Bethlehem; five grandchildren, Gina, Joseph, Brett, Alan and John as well as her five great grandchildren, Tyler, Olivia, Madilyn, Jacob and David and her sister, Helen Spevak of Bethlehem.

Regina was preceded in death by her sister Bernadine Daday as well as a brother.

Regina enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and doing ceramics but she especially loved spending time with her family.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 27, 2009 from 8:30-9:30 AM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 10 AM at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem PA 18018

Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
