Richard Arthur Glose, 76, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at his home.
He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Charles and Eleanor Paige Glose.
Richard was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia P. Glose in December of 2006.
He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy.
Richard worked most of his years as a manager for Food Train currently Sims Market on Broad St. in Bethlehem. He later worked for the Hotel Bethlehem and the Holiday Inn.
He will be lovingly remembered by his four daughters, Michele, wife of Gary Benek of Barto, PA; Charlene Sommers of Dunn, NC; Kathleen, wife of
Barry Kunsman of Bethlehem; and Lynn Marie, wife of Frank Dolgos of Bethlehem; as well as his brother, Charles Glose of Jacksonville, OR; and sister, Winifred Glose of Albuquerque, NM.
Richard is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He enjoyed model trains, woodworking, photography and the Mummers and will especially be remembered forever as being a loving father and
grandfather.
SERVICES
A visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 from 5:30-8 PM.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 10AM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice in memory of Richard.
Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
