Richard Bauer

Richard J. Bauer, Sr., 49, of Allentown, died on Friday, April 20, 2012. He was born in Allentown, son of the late Donald Sr. and Joyce (Schaffer) Bauer. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Danielle (Wallace) Bauer. Rick was the owner and operator of Bauer's Pest Control, Inc. servicing the Lehigh Valley.

Richard served in the United States Marine Corps from 1985 to 1987. He was decorated with a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Marksmanship Rifle Badge, and a Good Conduct Medal. Richard was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Danielle; sons, Richard, Jr. and John Chuko, daughter, Emily Bauer and Scott Hawk; grandchildren, Azayah Bauer, Kadin and Mason Hawk and Anya Coleman; brothers, Donald, Robert, John and James; and sisters, Barbara Polzer, Mary Tannous and Donna Lopp.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28th at 11 a.m. Viewing hours will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.
