Richard E. Kalamar

Richard E. Kalamar, 77, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, July 22, 2015. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Stephen and Gizella (Szever) Kalamar. Richard was the loving husband to Lorraine (Yeakel) Kalamar with whom he was married to for 55 years.

Richard worked for the former Lucent Technologies, formerly Western Electric, in the Manufacturing and Purchasing Departments for 34 years retiring in 1994. He served his country in the USMC. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Bethlehem. His family was most important to him especially his grandchildren.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lorraine, of Bethlehem; and sons, Scott (Linda) and Brian (Sandra) and three grandchildren, Kelsey, Scott and Matthew. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Kalamar, Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 11 AM at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2020 Worthington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017. The family will receive guests from 9-11 AM in the church.
