April 4, 1935 — August 8, 2022

Richard (Dick) H. Arnold, 87, of Winter Haven, FL, formerly of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on August 8, 2022, which would have been his 63rd wedding anniversary.

Born on April 4, 1935, in Friedensville, PA. He was the son of the late Harrison and Cecelia (Kehs) Arnold.

Following his formal education, he proudly served in the US Army 1st Cavalry Division, stationed in Korea, during peacetime. He earned the US Army Good Conduct Award and, almost 50 years later, was recognized for protecting our freedom by the Korean-American Cultural Foundation. Upon returning home, he was employed by Saucon Valley Country Club. Soon after, he began a 28-year career with Bethlehem Steel, working in the Beam Yards, Crane Operator, and retired as a foreman.

He enjoyed coaching Little League baseball with his 3 boys, as they were growing up. He also enjoyed camping and gatherings with his family, traveling in his RV, golfing and spending time with his 5 beloved grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Helen (Chrinko) Arnold, who passed away September 28, 2004; one brother, Leonard Arnold; five sisters, Beatrice Erney, Dorothy Arnold, Kathryn Arnold, Evelyn Mastropieri, and Joan Parry; and four brothers-in-law, Leroy Erney, Frank Mastropieri, Al Cambiotti and Kenneth Parry.

Dick will be lovingly remembered by his three sons and their wives: Richard and Karen Arnold, Roger and Susan Arnold and Daniel and Antiminia Arnold; three sisters, Jean Cambiotti, Gertrude Steinbach and her husband Joseph, and Jane Lenner and her husband John; and five grandchildren, Samantha Frack and her husband Jason, Tyler Arnold, Anthony Arnold, Austin Arnold, and Samuel Arnold.
