Richard M. Musgnung

Richard M. Musgnung, 90, of Bethlehem, PA, died peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2015. He was born in Bethlehem Twp., son of the late William and Mary (Dugan) Musgnung. He was the loving husband of 65 years to Marie A. (Falco) Musgnung. Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge and later served in Korea. Richard retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. as a foreman after 32 years of service. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Hellertown.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marie; daughters, Deborah Spadaccia of Bethlehem; Donna Marie Grammes and her husband, William of Whitehall; and Antoinette Ranich and her husband, Daniel of Frenchtown, NJ; two sisters, Doris Slekvac and her husband, Roy of Coopersburg; and Nancy O'Connell and her husband, Johnny of Bethlehem Twp.; two brothers, William Musgnung and his wife, Patsy of Bethlehem; and Harry Musgnung and his wife, Marilyn of Bethlehem as well as his nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by a brother, Charles.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10 a.m. followed by burial.
