Richard T. Leh, Sr.

Richard T. Leh, Sr.of Whitehall died Sunday July 26, 2009 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest in Salisbury Twp. He was born on October 10, 1935 in Allentown son of the late Clarence and Henrietta Gotthardt Leh. He was the husband of the late Lorraine Calve Leh.

Richard worked as a bookkeeper for A&P Food Store in Northampton, and retired from Protective Coating in Allentown. He was a veteran of the US Navy and Air Force and was past commander of the American Legion Post 29 in Allentown. Richard was a fan of the Phillies and Eagles and enjoyed being outdoors with nature. Most of all he loved the role of being "Pop" to his grandchildren.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Margie Rondosh of Hazelton, Richard Leh Jr. of Bethlehem Twp., Jeffrey Leh of Allentown, Lisa Lindenmuth of Macungie, Timothy Leh of Kittery, Maine, Brenda Baughman of El Paso, TX, SueAnn Molitoris of Coplay, Robert Tews of Barto, Michael Richardson of East Texas, Pa., and David Richardson of Bethlehem, 25 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother Earl Leh, and sister Charlotte Beitler.

A Funeral Service will be held 11AM on Thursday July 30, 2009 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. Calling hours will be held from 7-9PM Wednesday evening and 10-11Am Thursday morning at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
