Richard Trapp, Sr.

Richard Trapp Sr., 81, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Sunday December 24, 2023, at his home. He was born in New York, NY, the son of the late William and Mary (Schaller) Trapp. He was the husband of Berlina (Abunda) Trapp. They were married for 13 years this past October 23rd. Richard served his country in the US Navy for 24 years. Richard also was an electrician for Mack Trucks. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Berlina, sons, Richard Trapp Jr., and Stanley Trapp, stepsons, Walter Gilder and wife Christina Liza, and Henry Gilder, grandchildren, Richard Trapp III, Alex Trapp, Ginamarie Gilden and Jordan Jones, sister, Betty Gross, cousins, Donna Copenhaver, and John Malacsics, and other cousins.

A viewing will be held from 9:30-11am on Thursday January 4, 2024, at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 followed by a 11am service. The burial will be held at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
