Richard W. Corby

Richard W. Corby, 62, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at St. Lukes Hospice House. He was born January 3, 1954 in Easton, PA, son of the late James O. and Dolores (Facer) Corby. Rich is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia M. (King) Corby.

Rich was a long time employee of the former Dick Milham and later Straub Motor Group and assisted for several years at City Towing. He was currently working in the security dept. at the Sands Casino. He will be remembered for his work ethic and his selflessness; he was always helping other people. Rich was a member of the Rosemont Fire Co.

Rich will be dearly missed by his wife, Patricia; son, W. Casey Corby and wife, Kelly E. Barr; daughter, Gioia Elizabeth Corby all of Bethlehem. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Dennis Corby, Phyllis Fredericks, Barbara Snyder and Stephen Corby, Sr. and his granddaughter, Taylor Morgan Frankenfield. He was preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Corby.

A visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018, on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 9 to 11 a.m. with a service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to City of Bethlehem EMS Fund, 201 Dewberry Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017.
