Rita Didonato Rich

Rita DiDonato Rich, 71, of Bethlehem died on Monday March 16, 2007 at VNA of St. Luke?s Hospice House.

She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Antonio and Domenica DeCarlo DiDonato.

Rita dedicated her life to her family.

She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem where she was a member of the choir which performed for at the Vatican for the Pope and she volunteered in many other ways as well.

Rita was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 52 years and was recently honored as Girl of the Year.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family, son Richard J. Rich of Bethlehem; Rochelle M. Petros of Bethlehem; and Anthony J. Rich of Chambersburg. Rita is also survived by her sister Rosemarie Fertal and brothers, John and Benjamin DiDonato all of Bethlehem; as well as her grandchildren, Allen, Ashleigh, Alyssa, Nicholas, John, Rachel, and Zachary and two great grandchildren, Jaiden and Jeramyah.

Family and friends may call on Thursday April 19, 2007 from 10-12 noon at the church with a Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Rita?s life to begin at noon.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church or to VNA Hospice of St. Luke?s
