Rita R. Wintergrass

Rita R. Rubel Wintergrass, 80, of Bethlehem, PA passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem.

Born on January 29, 1931 and raised in Nanticoke, PA she was the daughter of the late Walter and Rose Gaura Rubel. She was married to the late Frank G. Wintergrass with whom she celebrated 53 years of marriage before his passing on March 4, 2007.

Rita dedicated her life to her family. She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Deborah wife of Peter Klotz of York, PA and Kim wife of Albert Kortze of Nazareth, sister Regina Golanoski of Nanticoke, PA and grandchildren, Brian Klotz and wife Jennifer, Timothy Klotz and wife Sarah, Eric Klotz and wife Jessica, Joshua Kortze and Aubrey Kortze and one great granddaughter due in January.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Loretta Sledzink.

SERVICES

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Notre Dame Catholic Church 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Rita's name to Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's 1510 Valley Center Parkway-St. 200 Bethlehem, PA 18017.
