Rita Tobin

Rita Tobin, 73, of Bethlehem Twp.; died on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was born in Yonkers, NY; the daughter of the late Jim and Mary (Brady) Tremble. She was the loving wife of Joe Tobin. They celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary this past May 25th.

Rita worked as a Registered Nurse. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem Twp.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Rita will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Joe, her son, Joe, daughter, Deirdre, wife of Michael Italiani; twin daughters, Mary, wife of Bill Shields and Dorothy Ondush and her second set of twin daughters, Kathy, wife of Nick Cruz and Kelly Tobin and Rita's sister, Mary Kuck. She is also blessed with ten grandchildren. Rita was preceded in death by her sister, Joann.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc.

245 East Broad St., Bethlehem, PA. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
