Robert B. Beach, Sr.

Robert B. Beach, Sr., 68, of Bethlehem Twp., died peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer on Friday, December 18, 2009 at Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's in Lower Saucon Twp. He was born in Milwaukee, WI; the son of the late Howard A. and Mary L. Burke Beach. He was the loving husband of Rose Marie Adamcik Beach. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary this past January.

Robert worked as a Heating and Air Conditioning Tech for 23 years and was also a former partner of Beach Heating and Air Conditioning. He also worked in the maintenance department of the Bethlehem Area School District for 17 years.

Robert served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1961-1965.

Robert was a member of the Lehigh Valley Builders Association and other many civic organizations. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather "Gampy", and friend providing inspiration and strength to all who knew him.

Robert will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Rose Marie, son, Robert B. Beach, Jr. & his wife, Mary of Bethlehem Twp; daughter, Deborah Ann Beach of Bethlehem; grandchildren Chelsea, Robert, and Noah and brother, Rick Beach of Canton, MI.

Services will be held 9:00a.m. Tuesday December 22, 2009 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1817 First St. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Visitation will be held Monday, December 21, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday morning 8:00-9:00a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and/or to Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's 1510 Valley Center Parkway Bethlehem, Pa. 18017.
