Robert B. Mccoach

Robert B. McCoach, 86 of Bethlehem died Sunday November 19, 2006 at Whitehall Manor. Born, September 29, 1920, in Glasgow, Scotland; he was the son of the late Robert and Williamina McKechnie McCoach. He was the husband of the late Margaret B. Brady McCoach.He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel for 30 years, retiring in 1975 as a foreman for the fabrication shop. He was also a member of SS Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem, and a 3rd Degree Member of Holy Cross Council with the Knights Of Columbus. He served his country during WWII in the Air Force.Survivors: son, R. Craig and wife Sylvia of Scottsdale, AZ; daughter, Judith McFadden and husband Christopher of New Tripoli; brother William of Bethlehem; sisters, Elizabeth Coken of Bethlehem and, Mary Cunningham of Bethlehem Twp.; 5 grandchildren and, 2 great grandchildren.Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St; Bethlehem where visitation will be held on Friday November 24th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Services will be on Friday beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home and will be followed by a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at SS Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 730 W. Broad St; Bethlehem.
