Robert "Bob" A. Schaffer

Robert “Bob” A. Schaffer, 82, was born April 3, 1933 in Limeport, PA. He was the only child of the late Lovine and Elsie (Reinik) Schaffer. Bob was the loving husband of Jo Ann (Sydorak) Schaffer, celebrating 46 years of marriage.

Bob was a graduate of Allentown High School in 1951. After high school, he played professional baseball in the St. Louis Cardinals organization from 1952-1956 as a pitcher. Bob later worked for the Bethlehem Steel for 28 years, retiring in 1992. He was an excellent bowler and golfer. He enjoyed sporting events and raising indoor plants, especially orchids.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jo Ann.
