Robert C. Blum

Robert C. Blum, 94, of Bethlehem died Friday, January 22, 2016. He was born in Mahanoy City, PA to the late Margaret (Pritulsky) and Frederick Blum. He was the loving husband of Marcella (Bolack) Creedon Blum and the late Kathleen (Kostick) Blum.

Robert served his country as a member of the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. He worked as a Director of Operations for the Reading Transportation Co. and also as a sales manager for Friedman Express. He was a member of the Lehigh Valley Traffic Club and also St. Annes Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marcella Creedon Blum; step daughter, Marsha C. Kashner and husband Michael H. Kashner of Bethlehem; step-grandchildren, Kara Kashner Spradlin and Husband Gregory of Baltimore, MD, Michael J. Kashner and wife Nicole of Bethlehem; 2 great-grandchildren, Brayden and Kacy Kashner; brother-in-law, Arthur Vouthoris and niece, Regina Terry. Robert was predeceased by his first wife, Kathleen (Kostick) Blum and sister, Jean Vouthoris.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Annes Catholic Church.
