Robert C. Devers

Robert C. Devers, 61, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, January 23, 2016. He was born January 19, 1955; son of the late, William J. and Catherine (Balliet) Devers, Sr.

Bob was a graduate of Freedom High School. He worked as an assembler for Cutler-Hammer prior to serving as a forklift driver at B. Braun Medical until his retirement. Bob enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman; his home away from home was his cabin at Promised Land. He also could be found at the casino or watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his brother, William J. Devers, Jr. and his wife, Barbara of Bethlehem; four nephews, William III; Michael and his wife, Gretchen; Christopher and his wife, Melinda; and Sean and his fianc, Kim; three great nieces and a great nephew. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Mark.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. with a celebration of Bobs life to begin at 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
