Robert E. Beck

Robert Edward Beck, 75, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, July 05, 2017 at the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center, Scranton. Born on July 4, 1942 in Acushnet, MA; he was the son of the late Edward and Pearl E. (Hemenway) Beck. He was the husband of Pauline H. (Kuczwara) Beck. They married on August 13, 1966.

Robert was a Vietnam War Veteran having served with the Navy as a Gunners Mate on multiple destroyers. After the war he continued his career as a Petty Officer until his retirement in 1981. Following his retirement he held several sales positions and also volunteered for Meals On Wheels. He was a member of the Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Pauline; daughter, Karina A. Beck; son, David Beck; sister, Diane Fields; and nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Maureen Gazafi.

All services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
