Robert Horvath

Robert Horvath, 74, of Bethlehem, passed away on January 4, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Susan (Davis) Horvath, whom he married September 6, 1969. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Julius and Helen Horvath.

Robert was a 1966 graduate of Liberty High School. He honorably served in the U.S. Marines from 1966 until 1971. Robert was employed at the Bethlehem Steel for over 30 years. He was a member of St. John Capistrano Church and later a member of St. Annes Church in Bethlehem. Robert loved camping with his family at Colonial Woods Campground where he worked, vacationed, fished, and spent time with his grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his wife, Susan; daughters, Jennifer Smith and husband, Derek; Amy Kelly and husband, Joseph; grandchildren, Cody, Jordan, Abigail, Beatrice, and Elin; brother, Julius, and sister, Carol.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. A viewing for relatives and friends will be held from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
