Robert J. Seidenberger, 88, of Hellertown, formerly of Bethlehem and Bucks County, died peacefully at Moravian Village on Friday, January 20th, 2017. He was the son of the late Joseph and Theresa Seidenberger. Robert was the loving husband of Lucille Ronca Seidenberger to whom he was married 63 years. He was the father of Debra Beck, Patricia Wood, Bob Seidenberger, Jr. and Susan Zesiger and grandfather to four children.
Bob graduated from Fountain Hill High School, class of 1946, and attended Moravian College and graduated from Lehigh University with an Industrial Engineering and Business degree. Bob honorably served his country in the United States Army. Whilst stationed in Korea, he was personally chosen to guard and protect Syngman Rhees (South Koreas President) estate.

Bob and his wife Lucy spent the following year traveling extensively throughout both America and various foreign countries. All who knew Bob knew that he had too much energy and drive to stay in retirement. He decided to accept a position with the IRS Criminal Investigative Division in Richmond, Virginia and worked an additional 11 years. After his second retirement, he and his wife moved back to their hometown area and settled in Hellertown. Bob continued to be very active, volunteering at local organizations and ushering at Church. He was a wonderful all-around athlete and had a life-long passion for golf and enjoyed working at Wedgewood Golf Club in his spare time.
