Robert J. Uttley

Robert J. Uttley, Sr., 82, of Center Valley, PA, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015. He was born in Philadelphia, the son of the late Clement and Irene (Wetter)Uttley. He was the loving husband to Pearl Florence (Rau) Uttley. They were married 31 years before her death in 1981.

Robert worked as a draftsman for the Fuller Company until his retirement. He coached little league baseball for Saucon Valley. He loved skiing, traveling, building and flying model airplanes, woodworking, and was an avid golfer.

He will be lovingly remembered by his long-time friend, Carol Grim of Macungie; son, Robert Uttley, Jr. of Franklin, IN; daughters, Linda Kirk wife of Kevin Kirk of Charleston, SC; and Bonnie Feist of Plymouth, PA; sisters, Joan Werner and husband, Richard of Ohio; and Lois Rau and husband, Richard of Nazareth, PA; brother, Richard Uttley of Texas; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitations will be Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
