Robert Joseph Orwan

Robert Joseph Orwan, 77, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, June 4, 2015. He was born in Bethlehem, son of the late John and Anna Orwan. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Barbara A. Orwan. He proudly served in the US Air Force and retired from the Bethlehem Steel Co. in 1994. Later Bob worked for Hajoca, Industrial Equipment in Shoemakersville; and Weis Markets. Bob was a member of Monocacy Field and Stream.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; brother, James Orwan; stepson, Brian David Lee; nephew, Timmy Orwan; caregiver, David Dillman, Jr. Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, John, Eugene, Joseph, Clara, Anna and Elizabeth.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015 from 6-8 pm at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Another viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Animals in Distress 5075 Limeport Pike, Coopersburg, PA 18036.
