Robert L. Mcolley

Robert L. McColley Jr, age 71, passed away in the hospital unexpectedly, but with his family by his side on October 12, 2021. He was welcomed into Heaven by his parents Robert L. McColley and Mary (Heiczinger) McColley, as well as his sister Carol (McColley) Alesick.

Robert was a graduate of Liberty High School. He graduated with honors and was a wrestling champion. After high school, he entered the Navy, primarily stationed in Virginia Beach.

Robert was a kind soul, always able to make a person smile. He loved spending time with his family and all of their cats and dogs, although he wasnt very fond of puppy smooches. He also loved, his family at Walden III, where he was residing for the past many years. The staff and residents at Walden always made Bobby feel welcomed and loved. He loved to write, read books with Chase, watch TV, sneak chocolate bars and soda pop, and enjoyed walking outdoors and indoors.

Robert will be greatly missed by his brother-in-law James Alesick of Bethlehem, his niece and nephew Traci and Dave Stahl of Bangor, Pa., nephew James Alesick of Copperas Cove Tx, and his beloved grandnephew Chase. Chase will miss reading books to his Uncle Bobby.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday October 16, 2021 between the hours of 9-11 a.m. followed by a brief prayer service at Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad Street Bethlehem, Pa. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Center for Animal Health and Welfare, Easton Pa.
