Robert Leiderman

Robert "Reds" Leiderman, 83, of Easton, PA died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Easton Hospital. Born August 7, 1925 in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Frances Kelly and Frederick Leiderman. He was married to his beloved wife, Dorothy Kelhart Leiderman with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage.

Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked at Bethlehem Steel for 38 years, retiring in 1986. Robert's passion was spending time with his family and will truly be missed by anyone who met him.

Robert will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dorothy Leiderman of Easton, sons, Bob Leiderman and wife Audra of Allentown and Thomas Leiderman and wife Shelia of East Allen Township, daughter, Cindy Fretz and husband Tim of Weisenberg Township, daughter-in-law, Karen Leiderman of Douglasville, brother, Dick Leiderman of Washington, sisters, Rita Young of Bethlehem, Bernadine Greenfield of Bethlehem and Ann Marie Riccaboni of Florida, grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffery, Matt, Mike, Stephanie, Chrissy and John, and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by a very good friend Brian Rider.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Chuck Leiderman and Dr. James D. Leiderman, brothers, John and Fritz Leiderman, sisters, Lucy McCarol and Dorothy Vehafric.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at St Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church 4049 Hartley Ave. Easton, PA 18045 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
