Robert O. Bauder

Robert O. ?Sonny? Bauder, 71, of Bath died Saturday July 14, 2007. Born in Hellertown, he was the son of the late Charles H.E. and Mary L. Seip Bauder. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandra Penberth Bauder.

Robert was a plasterer by trade. He also worked for the New Jersey Zinc Mines, Bethlehem Steel and Mail-Well Envelope. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Hellertown and a lifetime member of the Grover Cleveland Democratic Association. Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and achieved the rank of sergeant.

Survivors: wife, Sandra; daughters, Joan Bauder and her husband Gary Pinter, Patricia Wittman and her husband Bill, Donna L.B. Gale and her husband Paul M. and Janet D. Norris and her husband David; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, Charles, Bernard, Richard and Larry; sisters, Nancy Kichline and Dolores Del Re.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Mary Y. Brockel; son, Ronald L; sister, Janet Burke.
