Robert R. Brennan, 91, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, March 22, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospice House. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Martin and Mary (Carlson) Brennan. He was the loving husband of the late Marie (Deamer) Brennan who died in 1984.
Bob was employed by Abbotts Dairies, working in the accounting department for 46 years. He was a WWII Navy veteran who served on the USS Samuel B. Roberts DE413 in the Battle of Layte Gulf. He was a faithful parishioner of the Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Robert M. and wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Maureen Berezny and husband, Ed, and Patricia Knappenberger and husband, David; grandchildren, Michele Ingold, Cynthia Brennan, Kahli Baker, Ryan Knappenberger, Edward Berezny and Jeffrey Knappenberger; and great-grandchildren, Madison, Brennan and Jonah.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 26 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Notre Dame Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
