Robert S. Beattie

Robert S. Beattie was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and retired Civil Engineer who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at the age of 76, surrounded by loved ones. He spent his last six weeks where he loved to be "living the cottage life" in Ontario, Canada.

He was born to the late Stewart and Emma Beattie on May 11, 1947, in Wingham, Ontario, Canada. He was the loving husband of Susan M. (MacDougall) Beattie.

Bob graduated with a Civil Engineer degree from Ryerson University, Ontario, Canada, and had a lifetime career in construction management. He was a big sports fan, especially the Boston Bruins, Philadelphia Eagles, Nascar, and Formula One Racing. You could often find Bob living the Cottage Life in Canada, where he loved being on the water and spending time with family. Above all, Bob loved his family and was so proud to be Grandpa to his granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Emma Bartek.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Susan M. Beattie; son, Shaun Beattie; daughter, Jacquelyn Bartek and her husband, Doug; granddaughters; his sister, Karen Robinson; and nieces.

One of Bob's favorite sayings was, "Let's Rock & Roll!" In remembrance of Bob, remember to live life to the fullest and "Let's Rock & Roll!"

Services will be held privately.
