Rodney Charles Hunsicker

Rodney Charles Hunsicker, Jr., 69, of Bethlehem, passed away on February 21, 2022. He was born on June 6, 1952 in Allentown to Joan (Moose) Hunsicker of Macungie and the late Rodney Charles Hunsicker, Sr. Rodney was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Linda A. (Kish) Hunsicker.

Rodney will be remembered for being trustworthy, intelligent and strong. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hiking and photographing nature. Rodney found peace in studying Theology, as well as reading and writing.

Rodney was a graduate of Kutztown University. He worked as a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service in Northampton and later serving in Emmaus and was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers.

Rodney will be dearly missed by his mother, Joan; children, Deric Hunsicker, and Megan Brungard and spouse Drew; sisters, Kim Hunsicker, Melody Hunsicker, and Mindy Riley; brother, Troy Hunsicker as well as his grandchildren, Isla and Aidan.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be held at Bethlehem Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
