Ronald G. Nakata

Ronald G. Nakata, 69, of Bethlehem, passed away in his home on Sunday, February 18, 2018. He was the son of the late Mary R. (Dutko) and George J. Nakata. He was the loving husband of Gail (Husser) Nakata.

Ron proudly served his country in Vietnam as a member of the United States Army. After over 20 years, He retired from UPS. Ron enjoyed traveling, being outdoors, the Eagles and Phillies. He had a green thumb with a passion for gardening. Ron loved his dog, Charlie, grand puppies and above all he loved his family.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Gail Nakata; son, Ronald Nakata, Jr. and his wife Lina; daughter, Sheri Pudliner and her husband Bruce; brother, George Nakata and his wife, Lois; aunt, Helen Sacarakis; brothers in law, John Husser and Daniel Husser and his wife, Carol; sister in law, Michele Husser and many nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 10-11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animals in Distress, 5075 Limeport Pike, Coopersburg, PA 18036 or to the American Heart Association, 968 Postal Rd. #110, Allentown, PA 18109.
