Ronald James Feist

Ronald James Feist, 71, of Hellertown, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 13, 2018. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Arlene (Sell) and Elmer Feist. He was the loving husband of Donna (Churetta) Feist.

Ron proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, work ethic and love for his family. He was a member of the Millwright Local 1906, the Northampton VFW and many social clubs in Bethlehem. He was known for his homemade smoked cheese. Ron enjoyed golfing and helping his family and friends in any way he could. He especially enjoyed hosting the familys annual pig roast with his father-in-law for the last 23 years. Ron loved his family and cherished every moment with them, especially with his grandson Avery.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 28 years, Donna; daughter, Alyssia Leibensperger and her husband, Derek; grandson, Avery; brother, Craig Feist; sister, Carol Symons and her husband, Leonard and nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 9A.M.-11A.M. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A funeral service will follow at 11A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be held at Hope Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for Averys educational fund.
