Ronald W. Benner

Ronald W. Benner, 76, of Bethlehem passed away on July 4, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 9, 1938, son of the late Wilbur J. and Madeline M. (Weidner) Benner. He was the husband of the late Nancy J. (Hippensteal) Benner. Ronald worked as an electrician and telecomm technician for DeSales University from 1971-2014. He was a member of Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church in Bethlehem and also served in the Pennsylvania National Guard.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Paul E. Benner and wife Michelle of Bethlehem; daughter, Theresa M. Benner of Bethlehem; and 4 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara A. Snyder.

A prayer service will be held 11:30am Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 12noon at Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. A viewing will be held from 7-9pm Thursday and 10:30-11:30am Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.
