Rose Falatek

Rose Falatek, 98, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2014 at Gracedale Nursing Home. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Joseph and Magdelena (Sedlacek) Hayas. She was the wife of the late Andrew A. Falatek.

Rose was a parishioner of St. Anne's Catholic Church where she worked in the rectory and was a member of their widow's group and Sodality. She was also a member of the Catholic Sokols Wreath 32.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Francis Falatek and wife Sandra, of Windermere, FL; her daughter, Maryanne Deegan and husband Joseph, of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Justin Falatek, Kelly Stiles and husband Adam, Jeffrey and Jared Deegan and her great-grandson, Clayton Stiles. She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Daday.

Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Friday, March 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, from 9 to 10 a.m. A 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18017. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the church.
