Rose Marie Bellew

Rose Marie Bellew, 89, of Bethlehem, passed from this life on Saturday, December 28, 2013.

Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Ernesto and Liboria (Draggotto) Giunta. Rose

was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, John Joseph Bellew, in 1995.

Rose spent her younger years as a busy homemaker, and later worked for Delta Hosiery. She was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church. Throughout her life she was involved with many clubs and organizations. In recent years, she was also active on the senior scene.

She will be dearly missed by her children: Marilyn O'Fallon of Bethlehem; Donna Davidson and her husband, Joseph II, of Forty Fort, PA; Jennifer Runyon and her husband, Kimzey, of Elverson, PA; and John, Jr. of Bethlehem. Also her grandchildren: Patrick, Jr., Joseph III, Erik, Donielle and Justin, as well as her great grandchildren: Joseph IV and Scotland Rose, who was named in honor of her great grandmother. Rose was preceded in death by her siblings: Ernesto, Nicholas, Leo, John, Francis, Leona, Amelia and Rita.

A visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad Street Bethlehem, PA 18018, from 8:00-9:15 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at Notre Dame of Bethlehem, 1861 Catasauqua Road Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
