Rose P. Hoey

Rose Philomena Hoey of Bethlehem passed away on Monday November 23, 2009 at Manor Care Health Services II in Bethlehem, Pa. She was born December 31, 1920 in Bethlehem and was the wife of the late Charles W. Hoey and daughter of the late Vittorio and Philomena Servodio Tutolo. She worked as a dress seamstress throughout the city and retired from Josettes manufacturing in 1985. Rose was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union , a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Church of the Most Holy Rosary and St. Anne's Church in Bethlehem. She was also a member of the Mother of Sorrows.

Rose is survived by her son, Charles R. Chuck Hoey and wife Dorothy of Long Beach Island, NJ, two grandsons, Chad Hoey, and Brian Hoey and wife Susan of Brigantine, NJ, and her brother Daniel Tutolo of Bethlehem.

Services will be held 9:30AM Saturday November 28, 2009 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10AM at St. Anne's Catholic Church 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, Pa. 18017. Calling hours will be held from 8:30-9:30AM Saturday morning at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
