Rose S. Barth

Rose S. Barth, 89, of Hanover Township died in her home with her family by her side Monday, December 11, 2017. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Rudzie) and Carmine DiFulvio. She was married to Leo F. Barth for 62 years until his death on August 24, 2011. Rose had a kind and gentle spirit and went out of her way to care for others. She served as a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital for 25 years. Rose warmed her fellow volunteers' hearts with her smile and their stomachs with the baked goods she made them each week. Her home was always the center of family gatherings because of her terrific cooking, witty sense of humor, and gracious hospitality. Rose had many hobbies and interests including attending Mass, knitting, visiting the Sands casino, finding great sales, watching daytime TV talkshows, playing cards with friends, and spending time with family.

Rose will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Linda wife of Ray Young, brother, Enrico DiFulvio and wife Paula, granddaughters, Emily and wife Jeralyn Aragona-Young and Ellen Young, great grandtwins, Leo and Mya Aragona-Young, nephews, Thomas Spevak and wife Theresa and Richard Spevak, niece, Georgann wife of Stephen Votral, sisters-in-law, Dorothy wife of the late Joseph Bedics and Barbara wife of the late Ray Barth, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Leo F. Barth, Jr., brother, Camillio “Bert” DiFulvio, sister, Mary wife of the late George Spevak, sisters-in-law, Louise wife of the late Truman Kunsman and Bernadine wife of the late Donald Knoblick.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home, Inc.
