Rose Ursula Medve

Rose Ursula Medve, 87, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem. Born March 7, 1919 in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Sarah Connors Sweeney. She was the loving wife of the late Walter P. Medve. She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church of Bethlehem.

Rose will be lovingly remembered by, three sons; Peter J. Medve & wife Connie of Nazareth, Walter P. Medve of Bethlehem, Michael P. Medve & wife Marie of Wilmington, DE, daughters; Rosemary J. Vassa & husband Keith of Bethlehem

Elizabeth M. Christ & husband Rick of New Tripoli, PA, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Sarah Jaxheimer, twins Barbara and Patricia Medve, grandson, Patrick Vassa, three brothers and four sisters.

Services: A funeral service will be held Monday, July 10, 2006 at 9:15 AM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Notre Dame Catholic Church 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem. Visitation will be Sunday, July 9, 2006 from 7-9 PM and Monday from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM both in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem, PA
