Roseann Elizabeth Bannon

Roseann Elizabeth Bannon, 65, lifelong resident of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at St. Lukes Hospice House. She was born in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Everett Adam and Dorthea (Karch) Howell. Rosie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 32 years, Timothy P. Bannon. Tim died on October 22, 2013. Until that time, Rosie and Tim spent so much time together; they were a great team.

Rosie will be lovingly remembered for her thoughtfulness, kindness, and selflessness. She would help anyone that needed it. Rosie could often be found with a smile on her face. She enjoyed crocheting and working on crosswords. She was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. And more recently, Rosie found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Rosie retired a few years ago from the United States Postal Service where she worked as a clerk.

Rosie loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by her son, Everett J. “Eddie” Bannon; siblings, Roxanne Rockmore; Randy Howell; and Diana Butler; her grandson, Gregory Taylor; and extended family and friends. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Tammy Taylor; and sister, Gail Rivera.

The family will receive guests on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 9-10 a.m. with a service to immediately follow at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Guests will be required to wear a mask and social distance upon entry. A limited number of guests will be permitted in the building at one time.
