Rosemarie Campbell

April 6, 1931 — January 17, 2022

Rosemarie Campbell (nee Mark), age 90, of Bethlehem passed peacefully on January 17, 2022, at St. Lukes Hospital surrounded by her loving children. The daughter of Jerry and Julia Mark, Rosemarie was born and raised in Bethlehem. She married her Liberty High School classmate (C. 49), Jack Campbell, who was also her next door neighbor and childhood sweetheart. Jack and Rosemarie were married for over fifty three years before his passing in 2005. Rosemarie is survived by her eight children: son, Kyle (Judith) of Bethlehem, daughters, Karen Fitz-Maurice (Jeffrey) of Newtown, PA, Nancy Anderson (Harold) of Bethlehem, and Judith Malizia (Michael) of Stuart, FL, son, John (Kathleen) of Media, PA, daughter, Mary Jo Cambridge of Homer, AK, son, Christian (Yvette) of Allentown, and daughter, Jacquelyn Miller (Joseph) of Brick, NJ. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren who all loved their MomMom/RoRo/GiGi so very much, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Leonard Mark of Camp Hill, PA, and her sister, Geraldine Miller, of Fork Union, VA.

Rosemarie had a love of music and played and taught classical piano. She loved to dance, and did so into her 90th year. She was also a voracious reader who had a lifelong thirst for learning. She instilled in all of her children the love of literature and reading. She worked part time as a bookkeeper to help send all eight children through Catholic school, and was a lifelong, devoted parishioner of St. Anne Church in Bethlehem. Rosemarie will always be remembered for her loving nature, her undying devotion to her family and her strong Catholic faith. She will be missed tremendously by her family, but her legacy will live on because of the example of strength and character she demonstrated to her children and grandchildren.
