She attended Washington Junior High School where she was a cheerleader and later graduated from Liberty High School in the Commercial Course as a member of the class of 1952. Shortly thereafter she attended the Bethlehem Business School, after which she secured a job with the transcribing bureau of Bethlehem Steel which led to a position as executive secretary to a manager of Bethlehem Steels fledgling Research Department that eventually became the Homer Research Labs on South Mountain above the campus of Lehigh University. It was there she met her future husband James Lynn, a research engineer of the same department. They married on July 6, 1963 in Elkton, Maryland. She resigned her position upon the birth of her first daughter and became a stay-at-home mom to her two daughters. She and her husband first resided in Wydnor of Lower Saucon Township, then on Easton Avenue of Bethlehem Township and finally on Seneca Street in South Bethlehem.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, her daughters and their husbands, Fabio Tulli, and Joe Martinez; her granddaughters: Fiamma and Floriana Tulli, and Isabela Martinez; a half-sister, Lisa Emery; a step sister, Kathy Rosenfeld; and a step brother, Dale Rushmann.
With her husband she traveled extensively throughout Europe, Brazil, Mauritania, all the maritime provinces of Canada, and finally with her family camping throughout the USA covering 45 of the 50 States. She and her family also enjoyed camping in the state of Maine.
Rosemary evolved into a master cook, covering American, French, Russian, Hungarian, Austrian, German and Spanish cuisines, much to the delight of the members of her family and friends. She became a competent seamstress, supplying custom clothes for herself and her daughters and also was a prolific knitter and crocheter. She also was an avid reader of mysteries and historical novels.
Her daughter Jennifer resides in North Wales, PA and Jessica resides in Grapevine, Texas.
Rosemary also enjoyed the company of her many friends and relatives, the latter of which included 18 uncles and aunts and about 50 first cousins.
