Rui DaCosta, 63, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, February 23, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Trancozelos, Penalva Do Castelo Portugal the son of the late Manuel and Susana Da Costa. He was the loving husband of 39 years to Maria Armanda DaCosta. Rui worked for Lisbon Contractors and Anrich, Inc. in King of Prussia, before retiring in 2013. He was a parishioner of Holy Infancy Catholic Church.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Maria Armanda and son, George DaCosta and wife, Amanda and loving granddaughter, Rayna DaCosta; he was preceded in death by his brother, Mario S. DaCosta; survived by sisters, Amelia Sousa wife of Antonio of Florida; Olivia, wife of the late Francisco Almeida, of Bethlehem; sisters-in-law, Amelia DaCosta of Bethlehem; Rosa, wife of Francisco Sousa; nieces, nephews and cousins in Bethlehem and Florida; and his aunt and cousins in Portugal.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th St., Bethlehem, PA 18015. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
