Russell A. Wolfe

Russell A. Wolfe, 71, of Bethlehem passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 at St. Lukes Hospital in Fountain Hill. Born July 9, 1943 he was the son of the late Corareidis (Weiland) and Gilbert T. Wolfe.

Russell was a graduate of Southern Lehigh High School where he was the captain of the varsity basketball team. He then joined the U.S. Army where he served his country proudly during the Vietnam War in the 82nd Airborne Division. He also served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He retired as a letter carrier from the U.S. Postal service. Russell loved the military and was the Vice President of the Vietnam Veterans of America PA Chapter 415 and was a member of the 504/509 Parachute Company. He was also a member of several American Legions throughout the Lehigh Valley. Russell volunteered much of his time with the Northeast Little League where he was a manager and devoted umpire.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Rhonda Geiselman wife of Scott and their two daughters Abby and Emma. He was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia D. Wolfe.

According to Russells wishes there will be no services.
