Ruth B. Faix

Ruth B. Faix, 86, of Nazareth passed away on Sunday, Jan.1, 2012 at home. Formerly of Bethlehem, she was the wife of the late Raymond G. Faix, who passed in 2003. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Robert M. and Gladys Kuehn Bauer.

Ruth was employed for over 40 years at the former Western Electric Co. in Allentown. She was a long time member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Bethlehem and since moving to Nazareth attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth.

She had been a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and volunteered her time at the library of Moravian Hall Square.

Surviving is a daughter Holly of Allentown, a brother Robert E. Bauer and his wife Nancy of Allentown and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Donald.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem where a calling hour will be held from 8:30am - 9:30am on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012. Services will begin with prayers at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in Holy Family Church, 410 W. Center St., Nazareth. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
