Ruth E. Bowers

Ruth E. Bowers, 89, of Bethlehem, passed away on August 6, 2022 at Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was born on September 24, 1932 in Lima, Ohio to the late Harry Long and Artha (Raines) Barmun. Ruth worked for the Northampton County Aging as a Clerk for many years until retiring in 1989. She was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, Bethlehem.

Survivors: Daughter: Deborah L. Keretz of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Joshua A. and Laura A. Baum; 15 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son: David M. Baum; siblings: Thelma Weisgerber, Mildred Tsaras, Dorothy Koerner, Robert Long, Mary Clark.

Service: Family and friends are invited to call 10-11 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2022 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street - Bethlehem followed by a service at 11 a.m. The interment will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her church, 600 West Market Street - Bethlehem, PA 18018.
