Ruth F. Matlaga, 87, formerly of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, November 4, 2006 Phoebe Nursing in Richlandtown, PA.
She was born May 23, 1919 in Junedale, PA; the daughter of the late Abel and Amy Mae Bevans.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, George Matlaga in 1986.
She dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker.
Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her son G. Gary Matlaga and his wife MaryAnn of Bethlehem and the joy of her life, her four grandchildren, David, Heather, Dana and Christopher.
She was predeceased by her daughter Marilyn Gawlik.
SERVICES
A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 8, 2006 at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem from 9-10 AM with Office of Christian Burial to follow at 10AM at the funeral home.
