Ruth Mary Estelle Werley

Ruth Mary Estella Dreher Werley, 96, of Allentown, PA passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 in her home surrounded by her family. Born October 16, 1914 in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Clara Eldamenda Meckel and Charles Benjamin Dreher. She was married to the late Lloyd Albert Werley for 60 years.

Ruth dedicated her life to her family. Prior to her first child being born she worked at Post and Sheldon Silk Factory in Allentown as a weaver.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Patricia wife of Gerald Berger of Bethlehem, sons Robert Werley and wife Jean of Allentown and Barry Werley who resided with her in Allentown. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Karen Glose, Patti Bartolacci and Robbi Werley and three great grandchildren, Adam, Matthew and Justin Glose.

She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Werley, grandson, Barry Shuey and seven brothers and sisters.
