Sandra J. Horveath

Sandra J. Horveath, 72, of Bethlehem; died on Friday, June 6, 2014. She was born July 16, 1941 in Easton, PA; daughter of the late Gillespie and Mary (Steirer) West. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, David R. Horveath, Sr.

Sandra was a Liberty High School graduate, Class of 1959. She retired in 1981 after 21 years of service as a seamstress for Trio Togs Blouse Factory and as a server for Orrs Dept. Store. Sandras passions included attending auctions, yard sales and flea markets to both buy and sell items as well as yard work and watching TV.

Sandra will be dearly missed by her family; sons, David R. Horveath, Jr. of Bethlehem, PA; and Tracey D. Horveath of Bowmanstown, PA; sisters, Joan Marshall of Bethlehem, PA and Sharon Boswell of Athens, GA; brothers, Gillespie “Sonny” B. West, Jr. and Alan West both of Bethlehem, PA and Joseph “Bud” West of Venice, FL and her grandchildren, Gunnar W. and Brenna J. Horveath of Bethlehem, PA.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A Graveside Service will be held 9 AM on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Pl. Suite 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
