Sandra L. Mitchell

Sandra L. Mitchell, 60, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away after a long illness on Sunday May 16, 2021. She was born in Lambertville, NJ, the daughter of the late Leslie Whitehead and Kathryn (Kiniuk) Whitehead of Hellertown, PA. She was the wife of John “Robbie” R. Mitchell. They celebrated 24 years of marriage on April 19th .

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, John, mother, Kathryn Whitehead, and Aunt Pearl Kiniuk. She was predeceased by a sister, Kathryn Hamilton.

A viewing will be held on Thursday May 20, 2021 from 4-7pm at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA. An Office of Christian Burial Service will be held at 6pm at the funeral home. Additional services and burial will be held in Pittsburgh, PA at a later date.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church 1826 Kenmore Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18018 or Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church 730 Washington Ave. Carnegie, PA 15106.
